Staff Partner: Diversity Program Manager


Role Purpose:

■ Work with diversity department staff to develop and implement HRC’s diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives at the national and SC levels

■ Provide leadership to the SC on issues of diversity and inclusion

■ Serve as the local liaison and strategist for building and maintaining partnerships with organizations representing key sectors in their local community, including civil rights organizations, churches, unions, youth groups, media, business, and community-based organizations


Major Responsibilities:

■ Be an active diversity leader on the SC

■ Maintain the strength of the diversity Subcommittee through succession planning and active recruitment of Subcommittee volunteers

■ Participate in monthly conference calls with the Diversity program

■ Identify opportunities to build strategic partnerships with organizations and leaders representing diverse communities
